How long can I hire the development kitchen for?
You can book half session of 3.5 hours through to 7 hours.
What if I run over my allocated time in the development kitchen?
If you run over your allocated slot you will be charge at 1.5 times the normal rate.
Who else will use the development kitchen while I am there?
There is only one person using the development kitchen at any time.
Once I've booked the development kitchen, when do I have access?
Access is on the day, 10 minutes before the session is due to begin.
What equipment costs will I incur with the development kitchen? Can I bring my own equipment?
None, unless you have special equipment you wish to bring with you. You will need to bring your own knives and chopping boards.
Are there any additional costs with the development kitchen?
The only additional cost will be cleaning of the kitchen which is £25 + vat. However, if the kitchen does not require cleaning then this charge will not be applicable.
What are the payment terms with development kitchen?
On booking, a 50% deposit is required and the remainder to be paid on the day before the session.
And what about the catering units... what is the minimum term?
The minimum term is 3 months on a rolling licence, with 3 months notice to vacate.
Do I need a solicitor to draw a lease to rent a catering unit?
Not at all...we have a standard licence arrangement and you can move in on the same day if you want!
And what about my canopy...and other equipment for my catering unit?
You bring in your own equipment and fit your own canopy, depending upon your individual requirements. We have our approved contractors who will work with you.
Can you help me get food accreditation for my business?
Of course! We have consultants working in Park Royal Food Innovation Centre who will be happy to help you.
