What is an hourly kitchen?
An hourly kitchen is a fully functional furnished commercial kitchen, compliant with environmental health standards and regulations, available to hire on an hourly basis.
How much is it?
We charge £20 an hour which is inclusive of gas, electricity and cleaning materials. This price is subject to a fair usage policy.
What is the minimum time I can hire the kitchen?
Three hours is the minimum booking session, and thereafter as long as you wish.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
A £100 refundable deposit is required.
When do I have to pay?
We require cleared funds in advance, either by bank transfer or cash.
What capital or equipment costs will I incur?
None at all, unless you have any special equipment which you wish to use. That is the point of the facilities; we provide a fully functioning kitchen so you don't have to make a big investment until you are ready for your own commercial premises.
Do you provide utensils?
We do provide a range of utensils which are in the kitchen already. If you require something specialist you are more than welcome to bring it in.
Do I have to register the unit with the local council?
You do not have to register for development purposes, ad- hoc catering, classes, filming or photo shoots. You can still use us if registered elsewhere however if wanting to register the hourly kitchen as your main production kitchen you will have to contact Ealing council. There is a fee for use of the hourly kitchen as your main production unit so please contact us for further information.
